Photography styles vary – no doubt about that. So does the quality of photographer’s work. Occasionally our schedule won’t allow us to work with all the clients who come to us and the question will come up – who do you recommend as a photographer, who’s a good photographer in the area? Well, we’ve compiled a list of what we think are some of the areas best photographers and the areas of photography that they specialize in. It is by no means exhaustive – there are plenty of other quality photographers in the area, unfortunately there are also a lot of “guys/gals with a camera”. Here are some of our recommendations in no particular order.
- Kristin Gibson Photography – Maternity, Newborn, Children & Families. Kristin currently has a studio in the Northcrest Plaza in Peterborough and does location sessions as well.
- PN Imaging – Weddings & Portraits. Peter has a studio on Chambers St in downtown Peterborough open by appointment only as well as doing location sessions.
- Jenn Austin Driver Photography – Weddings, Family, Maternity & Newborn. Jenn does both location sessions and studio sessions in Millbrook.
- Jennifer Moher Photography – Weddings & Engagements. Jennifer is located in Peterborough
- Ridout Photography – Weddings, Engagements & Families. Specializing in weddings both local and international, Mark also does location portraits and is based in Lindsay.
Again, this list is by no means includes all the quality photographers in the area but it does give a good selection. Of course we hope that you will be working with us, but if we can help fill a need for you then that is great.
