Thoughtful Impressions aims to be your custom portrait studio of choice! My job is to make you look your best and I take it seriously. In fact, I am so sure that you will love your images, if you are not happy with your proofs I will retake them until you are.

Now with 2 studio locations! My home studio in Pontypool is conveniently located just 20 minutes from Bowmanville, Port Perry, North Oshawa, Lindsay and Peterborough – in the center of it all! I also have a studio space located on Chambers St in Peterborough for clients located in town or further east. Plus, I do location sessions serving all areas from Ajax, to Port Hope, Cobourg, Peterborough and Kawartha Lakes Ontario regions. My love for photography began as a young boy. I remember having a “110 ” camera and shooting those 12 images on a film in no time flat! Next came 35mm cameras and learning f-stops & aperatures. I eventually made the jump to an SLR in high school, learned plenty of Black & White darkroom techniques and just became fascinated with everything involving the camera. Though it always was my dream job, life being what it is, I ended up taking another path. My love for photography never left and I was constantly behind the camera. The digital revolution only fueled the fire more. Then in 2010 I decided to make the leap of becoming a professional photographer and Thoughtful Impressions Photography was born. There is nothing that brings me greater joy than taking part in creating beautiful images of my clients. I truly am blessed to have the opportunity to play that small part in creating images that will be cherished for generations. I give all the thanks and glory to God for giving me the ability and chance to create these keepsakes for our clients.
Getting incredible images of you is something I take very seriously. I am continually striving to improve my skills and products. Through constant learning at seminars, webinars, and online courses I work to constantly raise the bar in creativity and quality. As members of an international forum of Professional Photographers I collaborate with other pros daily. This helps to keep me in touch with the latest styles, techniques and trends and helps to bring the very best to my clients.
